Finding Nemo 2 logo that Pixar 3 made more than 5 weeks ago. I'm not sure if this is a great logo.

Because that The BABAMStudios said that Finding Nemo 2 is officially confirmed and that Dory's actress, Ellen DeGeneres, is in talks of returning but that Andrew Stanton said to not believe everything you read and it was perhaps said that they still need to confirm it, I'm confused if they're making it or not. I don't mind if they don't so far make Finding Nemo 2, and if they officially confirm it, I may be interested as to see another Pixar sequel, as I like sequels, especially sequels made by other film companies and I would like to see the characters on the big screen when I might have not seen the first film at the cinema. However, there were talks about it being released in 2016, which I'm hoping that Cars 3 will be released in 2016 and I want it to be released in the same year as Rio 3 as I like Rio and Cars and I would like it if there was a year when a sequel to both of these films would be released together. I predict that Rio 3 will be released in 2016 for the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, just like that Rio 2 will be released in 2014 for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. I predict Cars 3 to be released in 2016 as that is five years after Cars 2 was released, which was released another five years after the first Cars film. But with Finding Nemo 2 perhaps being released in 2016, Rio 3 and Cars 3 might not be released together in the same year. But it might be possible as the Human Mind film will be released in 2015, and the Day of the Dead film is said to be released in 2015 as well which the real Day of the Dead holiday is held on October 30th anyway so that film may be released in late 2015 along with the Human Mind film so Cars 3 might still be released in 2016 with Finding Nemo 2 and Rio 3.

Andrew Stanton said this thing:

I’m sure you’ll see some other sequels of things as they grow because now we are not so blinded. It’s the originals that keep us really going and it’s the sequels that are like comfort food, and I think it’s the same way for the audience.

And I think he said something about that they are interested of making sequels to their films that are good, especially Finding Nemo.

However, on Twitter, he said:

Didn't you all learn from Chicken Little? Everyone calm down. Don't believe everything you read. Nothing to see here now. #skyisnotfalling

On this page, there was some text saying:

At the Hero Complex Film Festival 2012 Pixar director Andrew Stanton took questions from the audience including the idea of a Finding Nemo sequel as well as Pixar’s general idea on doing sequels to their films. When asked about doing Finding Nemo 2 he replied that he would be willing to do a second Finding Nemo if he found the right story. On top of this Stanton said that in addition to Monsters University, he feels that Pixar will continue to make more sequels:

It is good that he took questions from the audience about a sequel to Finding Nemo and Pixar's general idea of making sequels to their films. And yes, he did say if he found the right story, then he'll make Finding Nemo 2, and I don't mind what they'll have in the plot for Finding Nemo 2, and I'm interested that he says that he feels that Pixar will continue to make more sequels, so hopefully, they'll make Cars 3 and other sequels, which I'm very interested of Cars 3 and I hope they use my ideas for Cars 3, especially to release it in 2016 along with Rio 3. Also, I don't mind what other sequels they will make, especially that I like sequels as well as the sequels made by other films companies, and I like seeing sequels on a upcoming films table, especially sequels to Rio and Cars.

Another page that mentions about Finding Nemo 2 and other Pixar sequels is this:

http://disneyvault.net/pixar-andrew-stanton-is-now-working-on-finding-nemo-2/

Also, another page says that due to Finding Nemo 2, there might be sequels to other Pixar films like Toy Story, WALL-E and Up, so that should mean that they might make Cars 3, as I want Cars 3, and I want them to use my ideas in it.

So hopefully, they might make sequels to films like Finding Nemo, Monsters, Inc, Brave, A Bug's Life, Ratatouille, The Incredibles, WALL-E, Up, Toy Story and Cars. And it is weird that some pages on some websites mention Monsters University as a sequel when it is really a prequel. And of course, I don't mind what they would have in the plots to sequels to their films, though I hope they will use all of my ideas for Cars 3.

Also, in September 2012, it has been confirmed by Andrew Stanton, who said:

What was immediately on the list was writing a second 'Carter' movie. When that went away, everything slid up. I know I'll be accused by more sarcastic people that it's a reaction to 'Carter' not doing well, but only in its timing, but not in its conceit.

Here's the website that mentions this:

RaptorWiki and Dvcnut have said that it's not officially confirmed. Dvcnut said:

Andrew Stanton did NOT announce or confirm that there will be a Finding Nemo 2. Yes, he stated he is working on a follow-up film, but there is nothing in regards to where in the pipeline or development this film is in. I'm sure Pixar has a number of films in development; not all of them will make it to release. It may be years until Finding Nemo 2 gets released.

Now, I don't know what Ryan thinks, but I think we can put a blurb on Stanton's page saying he has been working on the development of Finding Nemo 2. But we don't want to create a Finding Nemo 2 page until it is officially announced. Even then, we need to be careful of the page name since Disney/Pixar is known to change the name after announcing the film. This makes it a pain for us if we have to rename sub-pages and categories.

However, later, in February 2013, it has been announced that Marlin's voice actor Albert Brooks will return for Finding Nemo 2. So I don't know if the film is confirmed or not. Here's a few websites that mention this:

Also, I don't know who would voice Nemo, as his actor Alexander Gould is probably too old to voice Nemo if he is still young in Finding Nemo 2. If Gould is signed for it, then Nemo would probably be older, and the film would probably take place years after the first film. They will have to get someone else to voice Nemo if they have him still young in the sequel, but I don't know who.
