Even though Pixar made the most original stories for thier films, and as well as thier shorts, I wonder what if the animation company would someday think of making films and shorts that are based on everything, like books/novels, comics, TV shows, fairy tales, video games, etc. just they've already did with a bugs' life, which is loosely based on Aesop's The Ant and the Grasshopper.

So here's my fan-made top 12 of everything, like books, comics, games, etc., that would be adapted into films and/or shorts by Pixar in the future.

12. Madballs (toy)

11. My Pet Monster (toy)

10. P.D. Eastman's Are You My Mother? (book)

9. P.D. Eastman's Go, Dog, Go! (book)

8. Marc Brown's Arthur book and cartoon franchise

7. Dr. Seuss' Yurtle the Turtle (book)

6. Archie franchise (comic)

5. Sam & Max franchise (comic)

4. Ziggy (comic strip)

3. Gex the Gecko (video game)

2. Sid and Marty Krofft's Sigmund and the Sea Monsters (TV show)

1. Hans Christian Andersen's The Flying Trunk (fairy tale)

So what you think of this idea I thought up? Would that be possible someday and why? And also, can you think something else that would be adapted by Pixar in the future?
