Universal Man is a super that can be found on Disc 2 of The Incredibles DVD.
Judging from the nature of his powers, it can be assumed that besides Meta Man and Mr. Incredible, Universal Man was one of the most powerful Supers of his time, he also had the highest indestructibility rating of any Super on the NSA database, apparently people constantly flocked to him, seeking to bask in the "Awe of Universal Man".
In the film itself, while Mr. Incredible is searching through Syndrome's computer, Universal Man is listed as having "atomic density manipulation" powers, his NSA file also shows that he can fly by transforming his molecular structure, and likewise make himself indestructible at will. The Operation Kronos database assigned him a threat rating of 2.9. He was the very first Super to be killed by the Omnidroid v.X1 in the training sessions of Operation Kronos, and the very first to be killed at the hands of Syndrome.
According to his profile, Universal Man's life had been completely devoted to his superhero career, and therefore he did not possess any secret identity. His NSA file mentions he has low self esteem, and does not enjoy secret identity life.
- Universal Man is most likely named after the special morphable models that Pixar created for the film in order to create all its different background characters and extras, with this character being one of them.
- He could also be named in reference to Arnold Schwarzenegger, based on his title as "Mr Universe", which he first won in 1969 for his bodybuilding work before holding the title five more times. This is backed up by his thick Austrian sounding accent in the audio to his NSA file, an obvious parody of Schwarzenegger's own distinct voice.
- Despite the ability to make himself indestructible, Universal Man was still defeated by the first Omnidroid, it can only be assumed that he was taken by surprise and killed before being able to change his molecular structure.
