In addition to the tracks included in the soundtrack album, the film also uses "Dream Weaver" by Gary Wright (when Barbie and Ken first meet), "Le Freak" by Chic (when Ken models his outfit for Barbie), and Randy Newman's original version of "You've Got a Friend in Me" (during the home videos made of Andy at the beginning of the film).
Also, tracks "Cowboy!" and "Come to Papa" included material from Newman's rejected score to Air Force One.
The Judas Priest song "Electric Eye" was used in the temp score for the opening scene of Toy Story 3. The aliens are cranking the tune in their sports car. But the song was ultimately replaced by another piece of music.
The first trailer for the film used the song "Losing You" sung by Randy Newman from his album "Harps and Angels."
The album is only available for digital download.
