So now with the release of Cars 3, there is something like three times more named racers than before if we base ourselves on Mattel's die-cast line. I was thinking of updating this page but I'm not sure what would be the cleanest way to do it. I'm thinking we could subdivide the racers into subcategories, such as by generation (i.e. Put all the old ones together, all the next-gen together), or by racing team. I kinda like the second option, but the problem is that some of the teams have just one named racer. Another possibility I'm considering is to completely change the layout and just make a table.--Gray Catbird (talk) 25px-Gray_catbird_cars.jpg 04:28, June 22, 2017 (UTC)

I'd actually make two for 2006 Piston Cup Racers, and one for 2017 Piston Cup Racers. Then on the 2017 page, split it into two sections, one for previous generation and one for next generation racers. - RaptorWiki (Ryan) 16:26, June 22, 2017 (UTC)
I actually like that idea! It would definitively help with length and that's a neat way of organizing things.--Gray Catbird (talk) 25px-Gray_catbird_cars.jpg 17:24, June 22, 2017 (UTC)
