Toy Car Story is a movie in the credits of Cars being shown at the Radiator Springs Drive-In Theatre. It is a film made with cars that closely follows the plot of Pixar's first film Toy Story and features Woody, Buzz Light Car, and Hamm.

Plot[]

The car version of Woody yells at the car version of Buzz, "YOU ARE A TOY CAR!", leaving Buzz to reply, "You are a sad, strange little wagon, and you have my pity. Farewell." (replacing "man" with "wagon") Woody then says, "Oh, yeah? Well, good riddance, you looney!" In the second scene, the car version of Hamm says, "Hey, I hate to break up the road rally, guys, but, they're here! Birthday guests at 3:00!" (replacing "staff meeting" with "road rally").

Then Mack, who was watching the movie, and he says, "Oh, man! Whoever does the voice of that piggy truck, I'm tellin' ya, he's one great actor!" This is a nod to the fact that they share the voice actor, John Ratzenberger.

  • Tim Allen, Tom Hanks, and John Ratzenberger reprised the roles of Woody, Buzz, and Hamm as cars.
  • Hamm’s car form is one of the only references given to any form of real animal life throughout the Cars franchise, along with the Dinoco cars, the pigeon-based cars and Vroomaroundus Bugus.
  • When Woody said "Oh, yeah? Well, good riddance, you loony!", that is the same line originally said by the proper version of Woody himself in the original version of the film.
