Pixar In Concert-San Francisco Symphony

Pixar In Concert is an live performance by a full symphony orchestra featuring clips and scores from all fourteen of Pixar's films. The San Francisco Symphony performed for two dates in July and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra performed for three dates in August. The concert then expanded to other domestic and international venues, continuing to be performed through 2019. Music is performed from each film and composer - Randy Newman, Thomas Newman and Michael Giacchino.

The San Francisco Symphony[]

The San Francisco Symphony performed at the Louise M. Davies Symphony Hall on July 28 and 29, 2012. The performances were conducted by Sarah Hicks. They were hosted by John Lasseter on July 28 and Pete Docter on July 29.

From the Toy Story trilogy to The Incredibles and Up, Pixar has forever impacted filmmaking and given audiences of all ages some of the most beloved characters in cinematic history. Now, for the first time ever, the San Francisco Symphony presents the world premiere of Pixar in Concert, with visually stunning clips and memorable scores from each of Pixar's movies, including their latest release, Brave, performed live by the Symphony. Pixar’s Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter will introduce the program from the stage on July 28, and Director Pete Docter will introduce the program on July 29.
