Young Macintosh is a character in Brave. Son of the Lord of Clan Macintosh, he is one of the suitors who seeks Princess Merida's hand in marriage.

Upon arrival at Castle DunBroch to compete for Merida's hand, Young Macintosh becomes an instant hit with the local women, who swoon over his athleticism and good looks. Merida, however, is clearly not impressed by his appearance, and while competing in archery, he becomes extremely petulant when his arrow misses the bullseye, causing Merida to sarcastically quip, "oh, that's attractive."

As the first-born son of a lord, Young Macintosh knows he has it all – athletic physique, undeniable charm and long flowing locks that leave the lasses swooning in his wake. But vanity and legions of devotees can also be a distraction when it comes to bragging rights at the Highland Games.[1]
