Bob Cutlass is a supporting character in Cars and Cars 3. He is a sleek and sophisticated sedan with a passion for all sports, especially the Piston Cup.

Cars[]

"Bob Cutlass is a world renowned sports announcer. He's covered every sporting event from tractor pulls to monster truck rallies, including the last three Olympic games, but he's most famous for teaming up with former Piston Cup racer Darrell Cartrip to announce Piston Cup racing on the Racing Sports Network. Bob Cutlass is the voice of reason to Darrell's enthusiastic color commentary. Bob is also the host of Sunday night's TV staple "America's Funniest Sports Utility Vehicles."[1]

Bob Cutlass is one of the two Piston Cup announcers. He is sophisticated and serious as he announces who will win the Piston Cup; The King, who is set to retire should he win one final title, dirty runner-up Chick Hicks, and rookie sensation Lightning McQueen, who is believed to become the first rookie to win the Piston Cup and land Dinoco. He is later surprised when McQueen makes it through the wreckage Chick Hicks caused as well as jumping in a pile of cars to regain the lead. He later feels shocked when McQueen, Chick Hicks, and The King created the first 3-way tie in race history, allowing a tie-breaker race to happen at Los Angeles International Speedway to determine the winner. When McQueen chooses to give up the Piston Cup title to Chick Hicks so he can help The King finish his last race, Bob wonders if the move is illegal, only for Darrell to state that McQueen isn't pushing him, but giving him a bump draft as a means for assistance.
