Cars 3 cruises into theatres on July 14th 2017.
Three-time F1 world champion racing driver Lewis Hamilton today officially announced his role in Disney•Pixar’s upcoming feature CARS 3.
A fully loaded, built-in voice command assistant, Hamilton is just one of the many tools in Cruz Ramirez’s training arsenal. When Lightning McQueen takes his training off road, Cruz enlists Hamilton’s help to keep the struggling racer on track.
Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves by rival Jackson Storm. To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician with her own plan to win, inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet, and a few unexpected turns. Proving that #95 isn’t through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing’s biggest stage!
Directed by Brian Fee (storyboard artist “Cars 2,“ “WALL•E”) and produced by Kevin Reher (“A Bug’s Life,” “La Luna” short)
