The Bird's newborn Chicks make a brief appearance near the end of A Bug's Life. The one in the middle eats Hopper.

A Bug's Life

During Flik and the circus bugs' encounter with the mother bird, the chicks are seen having not yet hatched from their eggs. By the end of the film, they had hatched and were seen preparing to eat Hopper, who was being held by their mother after Hopper mistook her for a fake bird, thus ending his reign of terror and insult on the ant colony.

The chicks are all portrayed as having downed bodies and open eyes (much like the offspring of chickens and ducks), while in real life, chicks born to passerine birds are often naked and blind at birth.
