Scud is Sid Phillips' maniac dog in Toy Story. He chases after any toys that come into his sight.

Scud is very aggressive and loves to torture toys as much as his owner does. He starts chasing Woody and Buzz Lightyear down when he sees them walking about trying to find a way out of Sid's house, cutting off most of their means of escape. During Woody's rescue of Buzz with help from the other tortured toys, Woody and his friends trick Scud into running clear out of the house, who gets locked out by Sid's younger sister, Hannah.

When Woody and Buzz escape in an attempt to reach Andy before he moves away, Scud sees them and gives chase. When he attempts to eat Woody, Buzz fights him off, forcing Woody to rescue him with help from RC. Scud does not give up, however and chases the trio into oncoming traffic. Unfortunately for Scud, he causes an accident in which all of the cars crash into each other and form a circle that traps Scud. Buzz is able to escape on RC, but Scud is left behind, desperately trying to find a way out.

It seems likely that Scud was later retrieved by his owners once they learned of the accident.
