The Bug Bar is a bar that Flik visits in A Bug's Life when he is searching for warrior bugs. Among the patrons are P.T. Flea's circus troupe, who recently got fired after a stunt went awry. The bar is an old, rusty, overturned lard can. The countertop is a Swiss army knife, and the tables are bottle caps.
A Bug's Life[]
When Flik is searching the city for tougher bugs to help him fight against Hopper, he discovers a wasp attacking a fly by roughly kicking it out of the bar, making Flik decide to enter it to look for tough bugs. As Flik enters the bar, a fly rudely shoves him, telling him to get out of the way, just as Flik looks around the bar and sees various bugs inside. Another fly asks the bartender to give him and a fellow cockroach two "Black Flags", after which the two barflies give a toast. While exploring the bar, Flik sees another passing cockroach and tries explaining that he's looking for tough bugs to help his colony fight against the grasshoppers, but the insect ignores him.
Behind Flik are the Circus Bugs who had all been fired by P.T. Flea and fear that they've lost faith in themselves before Manny and the troupe also give a toast. Suddenly, the Fly Brothers, whom Francis had clashed with earlier at the circus, and Thud arrive at the bar and begin to harass Francis. They tell him they know what he said to them at the circus before he and the troupe were fired. Flik then asks a mosquito to help him fight against Hopper and his gang, but the mosquito ignores Flik and instead orders a drop of "Bloody Mary, O+" that he drinks whole before he passes out, so Flik continues exploring the bar.
Meanwhile, Francis gets into a brawl with the trio of flies and attempts to do a "Robin Hood" act with Slim and Heimlich, but the can of lard (which served as the bar's structure) overturns in the process after Dim backed away in fear and due to his weight, causing the rest of the bar to fall apart. In the aftermath, the barflies inside the bar (excluding the Circus Bugs) are shown to be knocked out and unconscious. Flik, thinking that they are real warrior bugs, hires them to fight against Hopper.

- The "Bennett's Smork" tin container which serves as the bar's entrance can be seen on a shelf in Andy's room in Toy Story 3.
- The same kind of lard can used for the bar appeared in Toy Story 4, where it got crushed under the carnival carousel.
- During the scene where Flik explores the Bug Bar, two songs related to bugs, such as "Shoo Fly, Don't Bother Me" and "Itsy Bitsy Spider", can be heard in the background in the tune of a saloon piano. Additionally, besides these, a saloon piano cover rendition of "The City" can be heard in the background, which is heard during the part where Flik is exploring Bug City to look for tougher bugs.
